In January 2023, I was fortunate enough to secure an internship with UCLA's esteemed film archive. Delving into the intricacies of handling film reels and grasping the significance of preservation left an incredible impression on me. As an editor primarily accustomed to digital media, the opportunity to engage with physical film was truly enriching and added a profound dimension to my craft.
